The Normans wedding venue is proud to support the remarkable Martin House. Based in nearby Boston Spa, this children’s hospice supports babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions - from malignant diseases such as cancer to long-term progressive disorders, like spinal muscular atrophy.

Martin House’s skilled team provides end-of-life care, so that youngsters from 0 to 19 years’ old can live out their final days comfortably and fully. Not only that, but the hospice provides vital bereavement support to the youngster’s family, including parents, grandparents and siblings.

Martin House relies almost entirely upon voluntary donations and fundraising to provide its specialist care - which is why we’ve chosen to fundraise for them, so they can continue to help hundreds of families across Yorkshire.

We’re super proud to support Martin House - as are all our fabulous suppliers. Everyone we list on our website, from florists to photographers, musicians to cake makers, has made a donation.

FUNDRAISING events

On Saturday February 25, 2023, we hosted our first-ever charity ball. We’re pleased to announce it was a spectacular success, raising £24,908 - which is why we’re hoping to make the ball a bi-annual event and we’re already planning another for early 2025!
