We love a four-legged guest at The Normans wedding venue! Couples are more than welcome to involve their dogs in the ceremony - and have them stay for the drinks reception for photos (and canapes!) afterwards.
However, we ask that couples have a dog-sitter collect canine guests before the wedding breakfast begins. Dogs aren’t allowed in our onsite accommodation (sorry!) and even the most well-trained, chilled-out dogs can become stressed by a new, noisy environment.
Below, are some excellent local dog-sitters who will ensure your canine companions are well looked after while you enjoy the rest of your Big Day (and evening!)
ANGRAM PET SERVICES
The lovely Jenny lives a two minutes’ drive from the wedding venue and carries out all kinds of canine care - from grooming and country walks to overnight stays in her home. Cat care also available.
Bow Wow Vow
Services include wedding chaperone service (your pet’s plus-one for the day), pet taxi service, wedding walks, and pet sitting.
Katie & Co
Katie & Co offers a special canine chaperone package for weddings and events, as well as house sitting, dog walking, and pet visits.
Bark & Bliss Dog Chaperone Services
Services include fun training sessions before the wedding to make pooch posing for the perfect picture a breeze, as well as custom-made collars.
The Carriage House
Pets can stay overnight at nearby Carriage House and staff will even give dogs a walk while you’re partying (upon request). For contact details, see our Nearby Accommodation page.
