Why H&A?

To put it simply, Hog & Apple is one of the best caterers around.

If not the best.

We’ve always loved working with H&A - ever since the venue opened back in 2016. We knew that when The Hog was in town (specifically, our kitchen), everyone was in for a great day. And we’re not just talking about the innovative, imaginative food that would find its way out of the kitchen and onto guests’ plates - it’s H&A’s slick, stylish service and attention to detail that really fits with with what we do here at The Normans

How it works

  • We do appreciate that choice is important. This is why H&A’s Ged Dillon and his chefs have worked tirelessly to craft a variety of different menus (see below) for couples who book at The Normans.

  • While Ged and his team are committed to creating some seriously tasty food, they are equally dedicated to offering flexibility - from menu choices to drinks packages to prices - ultimately offering something that will work for all tastes and budgets.

  • Remember: the menus listed below are examples, meaning they can be tailored according to personal tastes, dietary requirements, and budgets.

  • Vegans and vegetarians need not fear: H&A is capable of creating some amazing veggie meals and menus. And anyone with younger guests can rest assured that tasty (and healthy!) kids’ meals are readily available!

  • H&A takes food allergies seriously - individual dishes and entire menus can be adapted according to dietary requirements.

  • For more menu options, contact Ged.

Costs & What’s Included

  • It’s sensible to expect to spend a minimum of £4,000 on feeding your guests at your wedding day.

  • Of course, price per head can vary depending on number of guests (as a rule: price per head becomes cheaper when guest numbers exceed 100).

  • The below prices are based on a minimum of 75 guests.

  • For smaller events, a surcharge may apply in order to cover costs. If this applies to you, contact Ged and he’ll do everything he can to make the numbers work.

  • Remember: the power is in your hands - you have the freedom to add or cut dishes to suit your budget.

Menus

  • To keep things as straightforward and simple as possible, we’ve broken down each menu, course by course.

  • To help you further visualise the culinary delights that could be served at your wedding, we’ve listed an example of what each course could entail.

  • Of course, it’s totally up to you what food you choose for you Big Day! If you’d like to fine-tune a course - or go as far as invent your own bespoke menu - just say the word! The H&A chefs love a challenge and will happily create a menu just for you!

  • Tip: Why not add a classic drinks package, or bring your own reception drinks or table wine? (A small corkage charge may apply.)
